Dr Bahman is an experienced and approachable GP with a special interest in skin health and skin cancer management. He offers comprehensive skin checks using evidence-based techniques to detect early signs of skin cancer and other skin conditions. With a strong focus on prevention and early intervention, Dr Bahman is skilled in diagnosing and managing a wide range of skin concerns, including performing minor procedures and biopsies when required.

SKIN CANCER CLINIC
Dr Bahman is the founder of the Skin Cancer Clinic at St Kilda Road Medical Centre, where digital dermoscopy imaging (photos from suspicious moles) and the revolutionary AI technology for further analysis is employed.
He provides thorough full body skin checks, as well as spot checks, using evidence-based methods to identify early signs of skin cancer and other skin-related conditions. With a strong emphasis on prevention and early detection, Dr Bahman is proficient in diagnosing and treating a broad range of skin issues.
Dr Bahman is qualified, hands-on skin cancer doctor since 2011. He is highly regarded in the industry and offers surgical and non-surgical management for skin cancers or significant sun damaged skins based on the assessment.

ABOUT DR BAHMAN MANSOURZADEH
Dr Bahman Mansourzadeh is a dedicated GP who enjoys all aspects of general practice. Upon extra training in skin cancer medicine, and an invaluable work experience in North Queensland, he is also a highly regarded skin cancer doctor.
He completed his Doctorate of Medicine in 2004. After finishing medical school in 2004 he gained experience in general and emergency medicine in Iran before relocating to Australia in 2010.
Dr Bahman began consulting at St Kilda Road Medical Centre in 2019 and has been a co-director of the practice since May 2022, when the clinic reverted to its original name and returned to private ownership and management.
Dr Bahman has always had difficulty choosing one field of medicine as a specialty since he graduated from medical school, as he describes himself as someone who loves every aspect of medicine! He ultimately chose General Practice and obtained his Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014.
During his six years of work in Townsville, Queensland, where he had to deal with numerous skin cancer patients, Dr Bahman developed a strong interest in skin cancer management. He pursued further training in this field, including Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery with a Diploma Degree, and has been a highly experienced hands-on skin cancer doctor since 2011.
With experience in both urban and rural settings across Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania and Victoria, Dr Bahman is a passionate General Practitioner who truly believes in holistic patient-centred approach and enjoys patient education in all aspects of their health management.
Outside of his general practice, Dr Bahman enjoys playing various sports, especially soccer, and loves music and traveling with his family.

APPOINTMENTS & FEES
Dr Bahman is a private-billing General Practitioner.
To provide the best possible care an out-of-pocket fee will apply to your consultation.
Fees effective from December 2024.
BULK BILLING
For Children Under 15: 8:00am to 5:00pm
St Kilda Road Medical Centre is a private billing Medical Clinic.
Dr Bahman will bulk bill children under 15 years of age until 5pm every day.
After 5pm, full rates apply. Bulk billing does not apply to Saturdays.
HOTDOC TELEHEALTH BOOKINGS & PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS
If you are booking a Telehealth appointment, Telehealth Results appointment or a video link appointment, you will be required to enter your credit/debit card details.
HotDoc will send you link, if you do not enter your card details within 90 minutes of your appointment, it will automatically be cancelled. Your card will only be charged after your appointment with the doctor. If the doctor chooses to bulk bill you, you will not be charged.
HotDoc do not store your card details once payment is made. Therefore, every time you book a Telehealth appointment you will be asked to enter your card details. If you do not have a HotDoc account, you will need to register by following the link which is sent by HotDoc to complete your booking. You may also be required to download the app to your mobile device.

SKIN CANCER CLINIC
A skin cancer check evaluates & identifies any present skin issues that warrant attention.
The Skin Cancer Check entails both a thorough skin examination & the gathering of your medical history, including any prior sun exposure.
Dr Bahman will evaluate and propose the best course of action if any moles or lesions have recently grown, altered in size, or taken a new appearance.
Please be aware that additional out-of-pocket expenses might be necessary if a biopsy or excision is advised.
